Professor Makoto Nagasawa

Professor Makoto Nagasawa joined Saitama University in April 2013 as Associate Professor, where internationalization has been actively taking place based on the governmental subsidy.
He previously worked at Research Institute of International Education (RIIE), Meiji University. He graduated from University of Southern California, Rossier School of Education, specialized in International/Intercultural Education and taught at USC College of Letters, Arts and Sciences as Assistant Lecturer.
He has also engaged in an international research program PROPHE (Program for Research on Private Higher Education) at University at Albany, State University of New York as Doctoral Research Associate.
His current research focuses on the internationalization of higher education particularly in the Asian-Pacific region and both international and institutional policies and program developments.
